Chapter Four

Candy severely tested his control. She slid across the bench seat of his truck and snuggled in, one hand on his thigh, dangerously close to his rock-hard cock. She licked the shell of his ear and whispered, “I had the time of my life tonight. Thank you.”

“Fine.” She crossed her arms over her chest and pouted then mumbled under her breath. Something about the wait better be worth it.

He pressed harder on the gas. As the hotel finally came into view, he sighed with relief. He wasted no time, tossing the keys to the valet as he raced by to open her door. They stepped through the glass entrance and made a beeline for the elevator.

“Oh,” Candy purred at his side and pointed to the bar. “Do you want to stop for another glass of wine?”

“Fuck no,” he gritted out from between clenched teeth. First she was in a hurry and now she wanted to have a drink? The woman was driving him insane.

“Fine,” she sighed. “But that chocolate wine is sinfully delicious.”

He glanced down at her just as she licked her lips and he almost walked face-first into the wall. “Candy!” he complained.

Whoa, what the hell had happened to the sweet, shy, bookish girl? All of a sudden she’d turned into a nymph with sex on the brain.
